Well, actually you should give a damn about who we are. But since you are so damn curious (I suppose you read gossip magazines like Sneak magazine too), we better give you a proper presentation of our self.

We are a group of adult, matured, experienced old bastards, which have been out a winter day before (and actually frozen a lot). Some wicked tongues add gladly grumpy in between old and bastards. We’ll strongly disprove that. We’re NOT old, grumpy bastards, but old, misunderstood cantankerous persons.

It’s also some wicked tongues that say that we’re not sour and angry, since they never have seen us without a smile around our jaw. This is just bullocks, cause we’re in reality always sour and peevish. But it do happen sometimes that we, as those top athletes we’re, that we’ve to smile. Only because we all the time is engrossed in body-building, and then is it actually really important to trim all the muscles. And that also means the Zygomaticus’.

Some of us started to attend to the stadium in the early 70’s, while some followed a bit later. Common for us all is our interest in Brann, the life surround Brann, proper supporter culture and that we all are seated at felt Z (block Z) in the Hansa-stand. We suppose we were some of the first ones to move away from SS (Store Stå, terraced stand) to Felt Z, and we therefore see at our self as the original FeltZ. If we of that reason think we are better than the rest of you? Of course.

Are we optimists? No, when you have been following Brann since the early 70’s, you just can’t be. We have been around for too many years. We stopped believing that Brann will become league champions some times in the 80’s.

We enjoy taking a pint (of Hansa) with the boys, and we’ve nothing against women. But that at the right moment.

In the end of this presentation we want to add that we’re veeeeery anglophile, and that we every now and then travel over to the British Isles. We got our own travel bureau, GGG Travel (or OGB Travel, Old Grumpy Bastards Travel) and we use that on the trips. More about this will follow later included full report of our board meetings. And if you guys in Reisegarantifondet (Norwegian Package Tour rules) now think that you’re going to get hold of this, just forget it. We’re namely too old and grumpy to arguing with you. And if even so want to pick a quarrel you’ll really get old and grumpy quite fast.

Shortly told, I suppose, you can say that we’re a gang that actually consist in of nice, good boys. Just a shame that it so very rarely shows.
